Adjunct Therapy

Already have a therapist you are working with? Your current therapist can discuss treatment options with you and if EMDR is recommended we can take a team approach to your treatment. In adjunct therapy, the client receives treatment from a second therapist that specializes in a specific skill (this skillset would be EMDR intensives) in addition to continuing to work with their primary therapist. A client can continue working with their primary therapist before and after their EMDR intensive.

“EMDR has changed my life. I had experienced medical trauma which caused extreme anxiety to my everyday life. I also began to work through the process of old wounds from childhood that I never knew impacted me as much as they did. In my work with Heather we have implemented roughly 6-8 EMDR sessions total. I have learned to understand the history of my triggers and then we work through the process of releasing the old wounds. While I may not ever forget the former memories, my future will never be impacted by the past nor hold me back. I am so thankful for this fresh start and highly recommend EMDR treatment. "
